- Our office will help you properly complete the application for citizenship, prepare for your examination, advise you on all the documents you will need to bring to your interview and accompany you on the day of your interview to ensure that your interview is properly and fairly conducted. In many cases applicants for naturalization never receive an answer from USCIS.
- If your application for naturalization has been pending for more than 120 days after your examination, you may be able to compel the USCIS to make a decision on your case by filing a writ of mandamus in federal district court. Our firm can represent you in such a case and file a writ of mandamus on your behalf.
- If your application for naturalization has been denied, and you believe an error was made, you may have a basis to appeal. Usually, an appeal must first be made to the USCIS. If there is a basis for appeal, it will be important to present evidence and legal arguments on your behalf.
- Our office has extensive experience in successfully filing appeals before the USCIS. If your application for naturalization has been denied, you have a right to seek a review of that denial in federal court. Filing such petitions is complex and technical. Our offices can be retained to assist you in such an action in federal court.
