Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Neal Richardson Datta, Attorney At Law, P.C. (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit usinslawyer.com (the “Site”), submit a contact or intake form, or schedule and pay for a consultation through our online scheduling service, currently provided by Calendly, with payments processed by Stripe (together, the “Booking Service”).

This Policy Covers Our Site and Booking Process, Not Your Case File

This Policy applies to the Site and the scheduling and payment process for booking a paid consultation. It does not describe how we handle information you provide to us after you become a client and we undertake your representation. Submitting a contact form, scheduling a consultation, or paying a consultation fee does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Once representation begins, information related to your legal matter is protected by the attorney-client privilege and our professional confidentiality obligations as a New York-licensed attorney, which are separate from and go beyond this Policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Scheduling information, collected through Calendly: your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, the date, time, and format of your appointment, and any answers you give to scheduling questions.
  • Payment information, collected through Stripe: your payment card or other payment details for the consultation fee. Payment details are processed directly by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Standard web analytics: pages visited, time on page, referring site, general device and browser information, and approximate location based on IP address, collected through Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Advertising identifiers: if you arrive at the Site by clicking one of our Google Ads advertisements, Google adds a click identifier (“gclid,” or a similar identifier) to the page address. The Site stores this identifier in a first-party cookie and in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days, and passes it, together with campaign tracking parameters (UTM parameters), to the Booking Service when you schedule a consultation, so that we can measure which advertisement led to a paid consultation.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used by Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Booking Service, as described in “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” below.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule your consultation.
  • To process payment for a consultation through the Booking Service.
  • To communicate with you about your scheduled consultation, including reminders and confirmations.
  • To understand how visitors find and use the Site, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect the rights, property, and safety of the Firm, our clients, and others.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • With Calendly, which operates our online scheduling, and Stripe, which processes consultation-fee payments, each as a service provider acting on our behalf and bound by its own privacy and security practices.
  • With Zapier, an automation service that receives consultation booking records from Calendly in order to transmit advertising measurement information to Google Ads, as described in the next item.
  • With Google, through Google Analytics and Google Ads, for site measurement and advertising-effectiveness reporting. When a consultation is booked and paid after a click on one of our Google Ads advertisements, we send Google the click identifier, the time of the booking, and the fee amount, so that Google Ads can report which advertisement led to a paid consultation. We do not send your name, email address, or phone number to Google for this purpose.
  • With our website developer/host and other technology service providers who help us operate the Site, bound by confidentiality obligations appropriate to their role.
  • If required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm or others.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies placed by Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure traffic and advertising performance, and a first-party cookie and local-storage entry that hold a Google Ads click identifier for up to 90 days, as described above. The booking window on the Site is provided by Calendly, and payment is handled by Stripe; each may set its own cookies to operate scheduling, payment, and fraud prevention. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some Site functionality but will not prevent you from contacting us or scheduling a consultation.

Data Retention

We retain contact form and scheduling information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the services requested, and comply with our legal and professional obligations. Calendly and Stripe retain scheduling and payment records according to their own retention practices and our account settings. Analytics and advertising data collected through Google Analytics and Google Ads is retained according to Google’s own retention settings for our account.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of certain uses. This includes rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To exercise any privacy right or ask a question about this Policy, contact us using the information below.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site, and we rely on the security measures of Calendly, Stripe, Zapier, and Google for the portions of this process they operate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above reflects when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
